Our work with the communities
In the countries where we work, our dedicated local staff are supporting the affected victims and help lead their communities out of poverty and homelessness.
Our experience has shown us that supporting the affected to get help needed and also help lead their communities out of poverty is the most effective way of changing everyone’s lives for good.
Challenging gender inequality and violence against women and girls is essential if we are to tackle one of the biggest causes of poverty worldwide and help women and girls transform their lives and the lives of members of their communities.
Our projects also aim to develop long-term access to education and clean water, as well as improving sanitary facilities and hygiene practices.
Our work is always guided by five ethical, participatory and sustainable principles: gender parity, environmental protection, inclusion, protection, and value-for-money.
